Zumbathon® Charity Events
A Zumbathon® Charity Event is a 3-hour event hosted by a licensed Zumba® Instructor. They are specifically aimed at raising funds for a person or organization. A Zumbathon® Charity Event often features more than one licensed instructor, so it is a fantastic way for you to see the best that each Zumba® Instructor has to offer. I have hosted or instructed at the following Zumbathon® Charity Events:
- What's Ya Flava?! Zumbathon to benefit the KD Moore Community Development Center hosted by Tashia Zeigler. Other instructors: Tomoko Hannah, Carolyn Hurst, Amanda Schmieler and Carmen Rodriguez. (January 2014)
- Zumbathon to benefit the GA Ovarian Cancer Alliance
- Handy Ace Hardware Employee Benefit hosted by Patrice Peters, owner of Inclusif Fitness. (February 2013)
- Zumbathon to Benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network hosted by Tashia Zeigler. Other instructors: Patrice Peters, Janice Davis Canty, and Leslie Nielsen. (October 2012)
May 2016: Henderson Middle School Health Fair
